Kevin Connolly and Ethan Suplee in Bad Trip
(1999)

Suplee and Connolly run afoul of some bad guys, and are arrested and tied up several times. In the final scene, the bad guys tie up Connolly and insert dynamite, er, inside him. This is supposed to be based on a true story.
